SKEEZE EILE (EXPERIMENTAL POETRY SERIES)

Organised by Roisin Power Hackett and Ruth Kerr, and supported by Temple Bar Gallery + Studios (templebargalley.com.)

Skeeze, is a word used by James Joyce in Ulysses, meaning 'to ogle'.

This was the fourth instalment of the Skeeze Series, which took part in conjunction with the Annual Art Book Fair. It was fitting collaboration, with the readings taking place in a corner of the gallery, giving a book shop vibe to the afternoon session. For the first time, Billy Dante read some of his developed sound poems along with his more direct poetry, in a further exploration on the line of energy and meaning.

First Skeeze, Saturday 12th November, 12pm - 1pm
Performing: Billy Dante, Roisin Power Hackett, Ruth Kerr, Tom Lawton and Seanan Kerr
